Trusted Supplier of Recycled HDPE Drum Scrap in Yemen
HDPE drum scrap is high-density polyethylene that is discarded as a waste material in various manufacturing processes. It has wide application in different industries for its robustness and chemical resistance properties. Recycling this HDPE drum scrap is a sustainable practice and adopted by many businesses. HDPE blue drum flakes are the most common color used in large-scale applications, while other colors are also available for application. GAP-YE is a leading supplier of high-quality reprocessed plastic scrap in Yemen, such as HDPE drum scrap available in different colors: blue, white, black, red, and yellow.

What Is HDPE Drum Scrap and Its Benefits
HDPE is a non-polar thermoplastic resin manufactured by copolymerization of α-olefin monomer and ethylene. It is a low-pressure polyethylene highly crystalline material. It has strong durability in high as well as in low temperatures. HDPE drum scraps are recycled to remove impurities and utilized further as raw material in various manufacturing processes. HDPE blue drum flakes or any other color HDPE has the same level of strong rigidity and anti-chemical corrosion properties.
Industrial Applications of HDPE Drum Scrap
HDPE drum scrap has high molecular mechanical strength, and that is why it is widely used in water supply pipes, jacking pipes, blowing pipes, and blow molding, where strong rigidity and durability are mandatory. HDPE drum scrap is 100% recyclable material and pure that can be used in manufacturing valuable items. It is also used in manufacturing products like bottles, mugs, drums, bags, packers, or similar essential items.

Our Sustainable Recycling Process
The HDPE drum scraps are collected from various sources, such as warehouses or any industrial facilities, for reprocessing.
- The collected HDPE blue drum flakes or any other varieties are sorted according to material composition and color. Automated technologies are often used, or the process is done manually.
- HDPE drum scraps are transformed into smaller pieces by saws or cutting equipment and then further passed on through industrial shredders to give them a uniform shape.
- The finely chopped HDPE pieces are refined by a granulator and transformed into finer flakes. The finely sized HDPE flakes are cleaned to remove residuals, labels, and adhesive. Usually, caustic soda and detergents are used with water for the cleansing process.
- Hot wash cleaning at a temperature between 60 and 80°C is typically used to eliminate the contaminants from the HDPE drum scraps. Washing and maintaining the high temperature ensures the high-quality flakes are reusable for all purposes.
- The excess moisture from HDPE flakes is removed by the air dryer or centrifuges.
- The HDPE flakes are tested for quality assurance at the final step, and if they satisfy the predetermined standard, they are marketed for final use.
